In general, it is best that victims of dating abuse leave no evidence of phone calls on their personal calling system that may anger the abuser should they see them (for instance, a call to the National Dating Abuse Hotline). Depending on the calling system used, one can remove the call from memory, make several random calls, or use whatever mechanism available to protect evidence of the call. When possible, use a phone other than your own.
