O+ Festival is a nonprofit focused on enhancing community well-being by connecting musicians, artists, volunteers, local businesses and health care providers in a 3-day celebration of art and wellness, returns for the second year to the Bay Area in our inspired, community-driven town of Petaluma.
Guided To Safety is participating by sourcing domestic violence and sexual assault material from organizations such as Verity, YWCA, and the Center for Domestic Peace and making them available at a resource table in the festival’s clinic.
O+ Volunteers Wanted
(Yes, that’s O+ YOU!)
The O+ Volunteer Scoop …
1. Staff Guided To Safety’s resource table for 4 hours on any of the three days (GuidedToSafety@gmail.com).
2. Two-thirds of volunteer needs occur during the day and involve helping out in the clinic green room, at the registration table in Putnam Plaza, or at our wellness venues (POST wellness or Yoga One).
3. One-third of volunteer needs occur in the evening and involve helping at the door of the three music venues: Aqus Cafe, Roaring Donkey, and Zodiacs.
O+ Love …
In exchange for your O+ time …
Volunteer for 4+ hours and you’ll receive an all-access wristband which gets you into all venues for music, some art happenings, and the wellness events!
(Please note, to receive health benefits for your volunteer hours, we require these minimum time commitments: 4 hours = 1 clinic visit | 8 hours = 2 clinic visits.)
